REFORMATION DAY | STORY OF MARTIN LUTHER | thejessyrose

 Hello Amigos!

I am Jessy Rose🌹

How are you all doing?

I hope you are doing well.

HABAKKUK 2:4

THE RIGHTEOUS PERSON WILL LIVE BY HIS FAITHFULNESS

So today we will see a person who was righteous and who lived by his faithfulness.

Who is this righteous person who lived by his faithfulness?

His name is Martin Luther.

The meaning of Luther is 'Famous'.

The life of Luther is in the purest form.

He was born on 10-11-1483, in Eisleban, Germany.

His parents are Hans and Margarette Luther.

He studied Theology and Philosophy.

He loves the Book of Psalms and the Book of Romans and also the writings of St. Augustine.

People used to call him Eli, Paul, St. Augustine.

He was married to Katharina von Bora.

She used to love and support him a lot.

She tells people that my husband doesn't preach only in a place or a city but to the whole world.

Martin Luther decided to study law but when his friend, Alex was attacked and died due to a thunder attack. He changed his mind from taking law to join as Monk for peace of mind.

Thunder has shaken Martin Luther and he shook the world.

He used to tell me that only Christ lives in my heart because he believed only with blood Christ we will be saved from the sin of slavery.

He completed his graduation in the year 1501 AD.

He became a Monk in Christ in the year 1505 AD.

He became a priest in the year 1507 AD.

He heard a voice telling, "The righteous person will live by his faithfulness". He heard this voice on the stairs where Jesus was taken to the judgment of Pilate (which is now St. John church in Rome).

During that time a person was selling pamphlets telling that if people buy those pamphlets their sin will be forgiven.

Martin Luther tore those false sayings and printed 95 principles of Law from Bible and stuck them to All' Saints' Church in Wittenberg on 31-10-1517 AD.

So it is called Reformation Day.

These principles have spread all over Germany and worldwide.

Luther is as brave as Lion.

King Frederick helped Martin Luther to hide from people who tried to kill him. During that time Martin Luther translated the Bible from Greek to the German language.

On 18-02-1546 AD, at 4:00 AM, Martin Luther told, "I am submitting my soul to your hands", and he died. He was buried in the Church of Wittenberg.

It's been 503 years that we started celebrating Reformation Day.

Now the Holy Bible was translated into 3969 languages and was available even for common people.

May the blessings of Reformation day fill us abundantly.

GOD BLESS YOU ALL!
