Hello Amigos!
How y'all?
I hope you are doing fine and safe😊.
Firstly thank you so much for the amazing love and support on every of my blog💗.
So today let's learn about another story about Lamb.
GENESIS 22:7
Where is the LAMB for the burnt offering?
JOHN 1:29
Look, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world!
JOHN 1:36
Look at the Lamb of God!
Father Abraham was a hundred years old (GENESIS 25:5) and Sarah was ninety years old (GENESIS 17:17) when his son Isaac was born to him. Both of them loved Issac so much.
God decided to test Abraham.
GENESIS 22:2
Take your son, your only son, whom you love - Issac - and go to the region of Moriah. Sacrifice him there as a burnt offering on a mountain I will show you.
God told him to give as a sacrifice, his only son who was born after 100 years to him, to see whether Abraham will obey or not.
Abraham obeyed God and the next morning he got up and loaded his donkey. He took with him two of his servants and his son Issac. He set out for the place God had told him about. On the third day, Abraham looked up and saw the place in the distance and said to his servants, "Stay here with the donkey while I and the boy go over there. We will worship and then we will come back to you." (GENESIS 22:3-5)
Now Issac will ask his father, where is the LAMB for the burnt offering? (GENESIS 22:8)
So Abraham answered "God himself will provide the lamb for the burnt offering. (GENESIS 22:8)
Abraham built an altar there and arranged the wood on it, he bound his son Issac and laid him on the altar, on top of the wood. Then he reached out his hand and took the knife to slay his son. But the angel of the Lord said, "Do not lay a hand on the boy, Do not do anything to him. Now I know that you fear God because you have not withheld from me your son, your only son." When he looked up and there in a thicket he saw a ram caught by its horns. He went over and took the ram and sacrificed it as a burnt offering instead of his son. (GENESIS 22:11-13)
Without shedding of blood there is no forgiveness (HEBREWS 9:22)
The first offspring of every womb belongs to me, whether human or animal (EXODUS 13:2)
You are to give over to the Lord the first offspring of every womb. (EXODUS 13:12)
Redeem with a lamb every firstborn donkey, but break its neck if you do not redeem it. (EXODUS 13:13)
Lamb is used in burnt offerings and fellowship offerings. (EXODUS 20:24)
Lamb is also used in sin offerings (LEVITICUS 4:32)
Lamb is also used in guilt offerings (LEVITICUS 5:15); (LEVITICUS 6:6)
Also for freewill offering (LEVITICUS 22:21)
Likewise, lamb is used for every offering which means lamb is the offering animal.
Jesus Christ himself came onto this earth as a lamb - Lamb of God. (JOHN 1:36)
Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world. (JOHN 1:29)
Lord made his life an offering for sin. The Lord has laid on him the iniquity of us all.
(ISAIAH 53:6-10)
For sake of all our sins, he came to this world and died on the cross. Because to make us free from our sins, curses, diseases, sadness, death, he sacrificed his life on the cross♰. Instead of us, he died.
Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world, the mercy of Christ, his peace, everlasting life, be with us forever. Amen!
Let's pray together,
Father Lord, instead of Issac the sacrificed lamb, Lamb of God, Christ Jesus, instead of us you sacrificed your life, cleanse us, and gives us salvation with your blood that you shed on the cross. Amen!
GOD BLESS YOU ALL!
